Blackrock Observatory Dome Lights Up DCS

We were very fortunate today to have the Blackrock Observatory Dome visit our school again. Students got an opportunity to experience the wonders of the night sky.

They saw planets, stars and galaxies in real time as well as solar and lunar eclipses. A great way to study the different aspects of the Earth and Space strand in the Junior Cycle Science specification! Thanks to Ms Hurley for organising.
